We are so excited to open our new home-based repair business here in Anchorage, with transport to and from Fairbanks for service! We are committed to providing you with the best, most trustworthy service, with open communication and an understanding of how you use your machine.

Our owner and lead technician, Kate, grew up in a very creative environment. Her mom, Pam Sprout, (creator of the quilts featured on this website) was a weaver, sewist, and is now an avid quilter. Kate learned to sew at a young age but prefers to work on the machines more than to sew on them…although she reports that she expects to become more of a sewist as the business grows.

Spending so much time around fiber arts gave Kate a good understanding of how machines work and how they are used - as well as the expectation that they work well whenever needed. Kate decided to become a certified sewing machine technician and help to support Anchorage and Alaskan sewists with repair and maintenance needs.

As a new and growing business, we welcome your feedback, ideas, and want to know from you how to serve you best. Our drop off/pick up locations are in mid-town Anchorage, and we do offer a periodic pick up/drop off service. Please reach out to us via email, message us here, or even message us through FaceBook!
